ENSI letter to Axpo Power AG concerning earthquake danger at the Beznau nuclear power station
Description
This letter addressed to the Axpo Power AG by the Swiss Nuclear Safety Inspectorate ENSI refers to a decree issued concerning assumptions made in connection with the locations of Swiss nuclear power plants and their safety installations. In particular, the PEGASOS project (Probabilistic Earthquake Danger Analysis) and its uncertainties are examined. Legal aspects are looked at and the reviews made are discussed. The judgements passed and the decrees issued are listed. The document is completed with a list of references
