Vitrification in Cd-Ge-As system in CdAs2-GeAs2 and CdGeAs2-GeAs2 sections

Description
The phase diagrams of the Cd-Ge-As system sections: CdAs-GeAs2 and CdGeAs2-GeAs2 are constructed. The phase diagrams in question are shown to be quasibinary of eutectic type with portions of separation into branches of initial GeAs2 segregation. The vitrification portions are determined on the basis of the considered sections in two melt cooling regimes, and possible causes of vitrification are given
