Seismic Experimental Study on Rod Position Detector
Creators

Description
In order to examine the operability and structural integrity of the rod position detector during and after an earthquake, the multi-frequencies seismic qualification test is completed on the horizontal and vertical direction at the same time. During the test, the seismic displacement signal of motivation on the control rod drive line (CRDL) of the reactor works as the control signal. The acceleration and strain of the rod position detector have been detected during low level earthquake (LLSE) tests and safe shutdown earthquake (SSE) test. The results show that, the structural integrity and operability of the equipment during and after LLSE and SSE satisfies the requirement of the specification. (authors)
