Geochronological boundaries of Pleistocene for Northern Baikal region (according to radiothermoluminescence dating)

Description

The paper presents the results of the stratigraphic investigations in the sections of the Upper Cenozoic sedimentary rocks of the Northern Baikal region of different origin. The obtained radiothermoluminescence dating, within the range from 18000 to 279000 years ago, fit well the geomorphological, paleofloristic and stratigraphic data and enable determination of the chronological boundaries of the Pleistocene in the Northern Baikal region. 8 refs., 1 fig
