Target dressing effects in laser-assisted electron-hydrogen scattering
Description
Free-free transitions in the domain of high scattering energies and low field intensities are investigated. We focus our attention on the case of the hydrogen atom in the ground state and consider a bichromatic laser field. Based on analytic expressions of the transition amplitudes, evaluated taken into account all the involved Feynman diagrams, we study the differential cross sections of the scattered electron for four processes in which two photons of different frequencies are implied.
