Radial quantum number selection rule in the beta decay of 209Tl

Description
The measured beta branching ratio of <0.1% to the 2.03 MeV (1/2+) state in 209Pb from the 1/2+ state of 209Tl indicates the validity of the n-selection rule leading to near equality of the n-p radius parameters
