The role of radiological protection companies, as trainers of radioprotection knowledge

Training, education and dissemination of knowledge in the field of radiation protection, physical, and nuclear safety, among other issues, are the main objectives of the training process, in which Radiation Protection Societies actively work. This training allows the incorporation of scientific-technological knowledge, skills and ethical values, in professional practices in the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. The objective of the work is to highlight the important role and contribution of the Radiation Protection Societies of the region and their permanent presence in the training of professionals and technicians, involved in the use of radioactive sources and equipment radiation generators The mechanism that these Societies propose is the exchange of information, the presentation of works in national and regional meetings where they are presented results and knowledge acquired by its associates and collaborators.
