Description
The NB 9201 dose rate monitor is designed for measuring dose rates of natural and artificial ionizing radiation sources and also allows determining external exposure. The instrument designed will be applicable for measuring dose rate between 0.01 nGy.s-1 and 199.9 nGy.s-1. It consists of a detection unit comprising an ionization chamber and a unit for ionization current electronic evaluation. Ionization current fluctuation is mainly due to alpha particle emission from the ionization chamber wall. (J.B.)
