Behaviour of carbon and oxygen in volume and on the surface of ''gase-phase'' tungsten crystal
Creators
Description
Results of investigations on the solubility of carbon C and oxygen O in tungsten W and actual contents of C, O and W, including W monocrystals, which have been previously published in literature, are compared with original results of investigation of O and C behaviour in the volume and on the surface of W crystals, grown by epitaxial gas-phase crystallization on molybdenum Mo(110) sublayer. Investigation of system W(110)-O is performed by the methods of mass-spectrometry of secondary ions, electron Auger-spectrometry, measurement of the work function and transmission electron microscopy
