Thick disks with equatorial accretion

Description
A model of a thick accretion disk with an accretion rate ten times greater then the critical one is presented and discussed. Its theoretical basis is extensively outlined and present drawbacks as well as future prospects of this type of approach towards thick disks are pointed out. (author)
