Application of a folding model to description of the 6Li+12C elastic scattering cross section

Description

The elastic scattering of 6Li by 12C is investigated at energies 30.6 and 90 MeV with use of a folding potential in which a Skyrme potential is used as the nucleon-nucleon interaction. A qualitative description of the experimental data is obtained at the two energies with the same real part of the potential without renormalization of the Skyrme force amplitudes. The nonlocality of the potential is determined in this case by the imaginary part of the potential. Decrease of the amplitude corresponding to the contribution of three-particle forces leads to improvement of the agreement with the experimental data, especially at large angles
