Antifriction properties of powdered materials during butt end friction
- 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Kiev. Inst. Problem Materialovedeniya
Description
Friction characteristics of Kh23H18MTs Kh23H18MsB, ZhGrTss4 powdered antifriction materials were studied in comparison with the analogous characteristics of the filled fluoroplastic F4K2O and graphitic carbons AG1500B83, AG1500BrS30. Friction loading of elements is made according to the butt end scheme with a mutual engagement factor in air and vacuum equal 1. It is determined that among the compositions under study the sulphocarburized antifriction Kh23H18MsTs steel-base material possesses the highest wear resistance during friction in vacuum and in air
