United Kingdom states its priorities in a white book

New nuclear power plants, dismantling of offshore energy facilities, launching of public consultations for the implementation of new measures: the publication of the Energy White Paper, just before summer, explains the new British priorities in the domain of energy policy: energy efficiency ('climate change levy', 'climate change agreement'), promotion of clean energies ('renewable obligations') and micro-generation ('low-carbon building program'), carbon capture and storage (CCS), re-launching of nuclear energy, abatement of CO2 emissions in the transportation sector ('emission trading scheme'), and measures in favor of low-income ('fuel-poor') people (Promoting Winter Warmth program).
