Energy, the Key Issue for the French Presidency of the Union
Description
The evolution of energy policy will be placed at the center of the debates during the French presidency of the European Union (EU), an object of interesting studies with regards to canvassing European publics. Between consistent importation and weak European production added to the considerable rise in consumption, the problems linked to energy resources have to be an object of concern and the EU has to create legislation to eventually overcome both future deficiencies and subsequent economic problems. European energy strategy is thus faced with three challenges: political, environmental, and economic
