Description

A consideration is given to the influence of electron irradiation and holding at heat in the temperature range of 773-1473 K on phase transformations and changes of mechanical properties for alloys Fe-(5, 9, 13, 18, 28, 35, 45 mass. %) Cr. It is shown that electron irradiation or 10 h. holding at 773 K induce a development of short-range ordering in alloys with 5 and 9 mass. % Cr in distinction to alloys with 13015 mass. % Cr where the decomposition by chromium takes place along with the formation of α'-phase. Electron irradiation of 13-45 mass. % Cr alloys results in their additional 10-20% hardening due to activation of solid solution decomposition. It is marked that on high temperature exposure in the air in high chroming alloys the internal nitriding with chromium nitride formation is observed
