Climate change and the CO2 myth

Further increase of the CO2 concentration in the atmosphere has little effect on the greenhouse effect contrary to the effect of the increase of other greenhouse gases. However, politicians are using targets for the reduction of CO2 emissions that are unrealistic, taking into account the scientific uncertainties of the applied models, the doubts about the feasibility of quantitative targets and the economic consequences of such drastic measures. Some recommendations are given for a more realistic CO2 policy. Also attention is paid to the important role that coal will play in the future of the energy supply. 5 figs., 3 ills
