Piles foundations in water-bear dust-clay soils
Creators
Description
The method of removal of gradient non uniformities of the soil surface in the course of construction of the Kalinin NPP-3 reactor building is described. The method provides for concrete placement prior to piling. On the base of experimental investigations the calculations of the surface gradient height of water-bear dust-clay soils in the course of pile driving in them. Under the conditions of water-bear dust-clay soils the minimum volume piles: piles with open cavity, tubular piles or piles manufactured of water-permeable (porous) materials are most effective from the viewpoint of output increase of pile-driving aggregates and decrease of the gradient value of soil surface
