Description
This paper describes a pulse injection stimulus-response technique to study the boron mixing, remixing and transport performance after injected into the reactor core. The experiment was carried out to simulate the reactor situation with water. The system identification method had been used to identify the boron mixing and transport performance in the open loop. Based on the open loop experimental results, the closed loop experiment was carried out and the mass transport model has been developed. The computer simulation with this model gives a good agreement with the experiment. (orig.)
