Rupture of isolated aneurysm of the common iliac artery

Description
We report a case of rupture of a solitary aneurysm of the common iliac artery presenting as a case of acute abdomen. The interest of this case lies in the atypical presentation of this entity as a solitary lesion. Despite the rareness of this pathology, it should always be included in the differential diagnosis of cystic pelvic masses. We assess the plain abdominal X-ray, Doppler ultrasound and contrast-enhanced CT findings. (Author) 7 refs
