Study on klystron RF pulse shortening and development of waveform diagnostic FPGA board
Creators

Description
The RF pulse shortening occurred in the X-band klystron in the KEK-XTF. During the maintenance measurement in KEKB injector linac, we also observed that the S-band klystron had a similar phenomenon. These pulse shortening phenomena were studied with various equipments and methods. Further we developed FPGA IP and AD/DA hardware to record such abnormal waveforms effectively. (author)
