Kinetic properties of light lanthanide melts

Description

Based on the Enskog-Dymond theory and the hard-sphere model, with the hard sphere diameter tending to zero asymptotically with an increase of temperature, a method for calculations of the self-diffusion and shear viscosity coefficients in liquid metals was suggested. The kinetic properties of light lanthanide melts were predicted, and the good agreement with the experimental data was obtained
