HTMP Annual Report for 1980

On 1st January, 1979, contracts were initiated whereby the work of High Temperature Materials Programme (HTMP) on materials behaviour in relation to PNP systems came under the sole financing of the Ministerium fuer Wirtschaft, Mittelstand and Verkehr of Nprdrheih-Westfalia with Gesellschaft fuer Hochtemperaturreaktorbau-Technik mbH (GHT) being made responsible for the steering and coordination of the work on behalf of the PNP-Project. This Report summarises the technical progress made during 1980. The Report is divided into appropriate main programme areas and progress in each of the several tasks within the scope of the main topic is separately summarised. However, to draw attention to the main highlights, an overview of each programme area is given at the beginning of each section. In the following these overviews are briefly summarised to highlight the main progress made during the year.
