Compatibility of pseudohalide ligands with fluoride-ion in indium (3) coordination sphere

Description
Using 14N and 19F NMR indium (3) interaction with F-and NCO-anions in aqueous solutions has been studied. Formation in solutions of indium hexacoordinated complexes of the composition In(H2O)6-n-mFn·(NCO)m3-n-m, in which cyanate-ion bond with indium is realized via nitrogen atom, is ascertained. Cyanate-ion supplements the series of acidoligands (Cl-, Br-, NCO-, NCS-), compatible with fluoride-ion in indium hexacoordinated complexes
