Description

Energy levels of an electron in a cylindrical quantum dot with a modified Poschl-Teller potential in the presence of an external magnetic field are studied. Analytical expressions for the wave function and energy of the particle are obtained. The different regimes of magnetic quantization are considered and the dependences of the electron energy on the magnetic field are revealed for all regimes
