Description

Data on identification of new phase, obtained within 570-770 K temperature interval in P2O5-M2O3-Cs2O-H2O system with Mn (III), and investigation results of certain physicochemical properties of this phase are presented. It is found (mass.%): Mn=9,68; Cs=46,28; P=16,16 - due to chemical analysis of product, freshly separated and dried at 425 K up to permanent mass. It is calculated for MnCs2P3O10: Mn=9,57; Cs=46,33; P=16,21. Data of quantitative thin-layer chromatography (KTLC) have confirmed the formation of binary salt of above mentioned composition - substance content in the form of triphosphate in it turned out to be equal to 96,8%. This compound has intensive violet-lilac coloring. It is insoluble in cold and hot mineral acids, but is destroyed rather rapidly at alkali solutions treatment. The peculiarity of the new compound, as opposed to its well-known structural analogs, is substance ability to absorb water vapors at contact with damp air
