On certain investigations into nuclear-physical properties of actinides, lanthanides and fission products in Japan

Description
Information on researches in Japan in the field of lanthanide, actinide and fission products separation is presented. Concentration gradient method for the Am and Cm separation is studied. Data on the validity of the Sm, Pm, Nd, Pr, Am and Cm separation were obtained. High efficiency of uranyl cation separation from aqueous solution by means of Langmuir-Blouse film was experimentally established. Procedure for the short-lived isotope separation based on ion exchange with good results was discussed. Technique of visual UV-spectrophotometry for the investigation into chemical properties of actinide molten salts was developed

Представлена информация о НИР, проводимых в Японии в области разделения лантанидов, актинидов и продуктов деления отработавшего топлива. Изучен метод концентрационного градиента для разделения Am и Cm. Получены данные по эффективности разделения Sm, Pm, Nd, Pr, Am и Cm. Экспериментально установлена высокая эффективность выделения катионов уранила из водного раствора с помощью пленки Ленгмюра-Блодже. Исследован метод разделения короткоживущих изтопов, основанный на ионном обмене, показавший хорошие результаты. Разработан метод визуальной УФ-спектрофотометрии для исследования химических свойств расплавов солей, содержащих актинидыAdditional details
