High precision frontier of standard model and ChPT

Description
Full text: Nowadays there are two frontiers for the test of Standard Model: the High Energy Frontier with the Higgs hunting and searches for new states of hadronic matter and the High Precision Frontier which is performed in nuclear system at energy scale below MQCD. The main observable in the last frontier is the EDM of elementary particles, nucleons and nuclei. The observation of EDM in the next generation of experiments will points to sources of CP violation from the New Physics. In order to disentangle the several sources of CP violation the EDM and NN interaction are obtained in the Chiral Perturbation Theory. In the few nucleon system one has to deal with strong and weak interactions at same time and ChPT allows us to maintain consistency between descriptions of both dynamics besides of consistency with QCD. ChPT also gives rise to a more precise description due to the power counting scheme. It organizes the contributions in powers of M-1QCD. We show that the measurements on neutron and deuteron systems are not enough to discriminate among the several sources of CP violation beyond SM and there are needs to include triton and helium systems in the experimental program.
