The K0sK0s final state in two-photon collisions and glueball searches
Creators
Description
The K0sK0s final state in two-photon collisions is studied with the L3 detector at LEP using data collected at centre of mass energies from 91 GeV to 189 GeV. The spectrum is dominated by the formation of the f'2(1525) tensor meson in helicity two state. Clear evidence for a destructive f2 - a2 interference is observed. A clear peak of about 7 standard deviations is present around the 1750 MeV. It can be due to the formation of a 0++ or 2++ state. No signal has been observed in the region around 2.2 GeV. An upper limit for the two-photon partial width of the ξ(2230) glueball candidate is then derived
