Thermodynamic properties of SrCuO2 and Sr3Cu5O8

Description
By emf method within solid electrolyte in the temperature range of 1058-1257 K standard thermodynamic functions of SrCuO2 (1) and Sr2Cu5O8 (2) formation from simple oxides are determined. The values of entropy, enthalpy and Gibbs energy of formation reaction at different temperatures constituted for oxide 1 respectively:- 25.5±4.6 J/(mol.K), -92.9±5.4; -66.1±1.4(1050 K), -61.0±1.4 (1250 K) kJ/mol. and for oxide 2: -0.9±1.4 J/(mol.K), -19.4±1.7; -18.4±0.4 (1050 K), -18.3±0.4 (1250 K) kJ/mol
