Description
The report summarises recent results on the technology and properties of in-fibre Bragg and long-period gratings as well as mode-field converters based on new radiation-resistant Gefree N-doped silica fibres. In-fibre gratings written in N-doped silica fibres are shown to be the best candidates for sensor applications in harsh environments. (authors)
