Influence of electron scattering on the dose distribution near inhomogeneity edges in water

If materials of different scattering characteristics are located side by side in the irradiation field when exposed to fast electron radiation, areas of increased and of reduced doses will be generated. The shapes and positions of these so-called 'beam lobes' are studied. (orig.)

Liegen bei der Bestrahlung mit schnellen Elektronen Materialien mit verschiedenem Streuvermoegen im Bestrahlungsfeld nebeneinander, so entstehen Gebiete mit erhoehter und erniedrigter Dosis. Die Form und Lage dieser sogenannten 'Streukeulen' wird untersucht. (orig.)
