Radiation effects in silicon oxide glasses

  • 1. AH RU Tashkent (Uzbekistan). Int. Yadernoj Fiziki

Description

The influence of various types of radiation to the defect production and correspondingly to the change of optical properties of quatrz and alumosilicate Ce-containing glasses. The dose dependences and annealing curves of radiation induced optical absorption, thermo-, photo-, gamma-luminescence in glasses irradiated by Co60 and nuclear reactor radiation were studied. The mechanisms of radiation induced processes were proposed
