Relevance of activated carbon filter measurements in a radon screening campaign

Description
The use of short-term measurements in a radon-screening program has been analysed. Simultaneous long-term and short-term measurements have been done in 200 dwellings. The results show that using short-term measurements a reasonable sorting of the high radon concentration dwellings is possible which is the goal of a screening program. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Die Anwendbarkeit von Kurzzeitmessungen bei einer Radonspuerkampagne wurde analysiert. Dazu wurden bei 200 Haeusern simultane Messungen der Radonkonzentration mit Langzeit- und Kurzzeitdosimetern durchgefuehrt. Die Resultate zeigen, dass anhand der Kurzzeitmessung eine vernuenftige Sortierung der Haeuser mit einer hohen Konzentration moeglich ist, was dem Ziel einer Spuerkampagne entspricht.
