Synthesis and photocatalytic properties of layered nanocomposite H2La2Ti3O10/Fe2O3

Description
H2La2Ti3O10/Fe2O3 layered nanocomposite was synthesized by successive reaction of H2La2Ti3O10 with n-C6H13NH2/C2H5OH solution and Fe2O3 sol, followed by irradiation with ultraviolet light. H2La2Ti3O10/Fe2O3 shows better photocatalytic activity than unsupported H2La2Ti3O10, Fe2O3 and TiO2 (P-25) and can degrade methyl orange under irradiation with visible light
