Study of reaction mechanism for 12C(14N, 6Li) by angular correlation measurement

Description
An angular correlation for the reaction 12C (14N, 6Li) 20Ne* (α) populating the 8.78 MeV (6+) level in 20Ne is measured at 48 MeV incident 14N energy. 6Li is registered for 0-degree geometry in coincidence with α particles from the 20Ne excited state decay. The results shows that 20% was the upper limit for the contribution of compound nucleus formation. Possible main direct mechanisms of the reaction are discussed

Проведены измерения угловых корреляций в реакции 12C (14N, 6Li) 20Ne* (α) с заселением уровня 8,78 MэВ (6+) ядра 20Ne при энергии пучка 14N 48 МэВ. 6Li регистрировали при 0 градусов в совпадении с α-частицами из распада возбужденного состояния 20Ne. Результаты указывают на не более чем 20% примеси компаунд-ядра в механизме реакции. Обсуждаются возможные механизмы реакции прямой передачиAdditional details
