Sift of impingement heat transfer by a single circular jet

Description
Impingement heat transfer and flow along the radial and circumferential direction by a single circular laminar jet with a confined wall are estimated numerically in three-dimensional form. Local heat transfer is divided into three regions, namely, two-dimensional forced convection region, three-dimensional mixed convection region and natural convection region. Several lines are generated by rising and sinking flows from the starting point of mixed convection. Local Nusselt number is also evaluated for the correspondence between temperature distribution and flow. (author)
