The Backlund transformation, Virasoro algebra, and symmetries related to the cylindrically symmetric self-dual Yang-Mills equation
Description
The authors have obtained the Backlund transformation and symmetry generators for the cylindrically symmetric self-dual Yang-Mills equation through a gauge transformation ε SL(2, c). In this paper it is shown that there exists a subclass of transformations which generate a Virasoro algebra under communication. It is also demonstrated how new solutions can be generated from the old ones
