On possibility of observation of polarization of protons deflected by a bent monocrystal

Description

Two principle possibilities of observing the polarization of protons scattered in monocrystals using a polarized and a non-polarized proton beam are considered. It is shown that the practical value of studying this effect consists in a possibility of using it for the creation of a polarimeter, and in case of a substantial increase of polarization degree at high transfer momenta for obtaining the polarized proton beams
