Support for a fuel element storage rack
Description
The floor of the storage pond for fuel elements of a PWR is provided with a metal lining, on the surface of which there are projections of sperhical shape. They point towards the storage rack and are lined up with the support bolts in the storage rack, so that the hood-shaped design of the ends of the support bolts can surround the spherical surface of the projection. Thus not only axial forces, but bending moments and lateral forces can be absorbed by the supports. (DG)

Der Boden des Lagerbeckens fuer BE eines DWR ist mit einer Metallauskleidung versehen, auf deren Oberflaeche Zapfen mit ballig gerundeter Stirnflaeche angeordnet sind. Sie weisen zum Lagergestell hin und stimmen lagermaessig mit den Stuetzbolzen am Lagergestell ueberein, so dass die haubenfoermige Ausbildung der Enden der Stuetzbolzen die ballige Stirnflaeche der Zapfen umfassen kann. Somit koennen nicht nur axiale Kraefte, sondern auch Biegemomente und seitlich wirkende Kraefte von der Abstuetzung beherrscht werden. (DG)Files
