Oak Ridge Transplutonium Production Program
Description
The objective of this Workshop is to determine future directions in transplutonium elements research to be emphasized over the next few years. As part of the background for achieving this objective, an outline is presented in this paper of the budgetary, organizational, and production support structure that exists today for work in this area. A brief glimpse is also given into some of the motivations and developments of the past that caused the production facilities to be built. 3 tabs
