Description

Full text of publication follows: A variety of plasma reactors have been developed and nanoparticles of numerous materials have been produced. Recently, SiC-based composites produced by silicon carbide nanoparticles give attention to the prominent candidate for breeding blanket material in nuclear fusion. SiC provides outstanding oxidation resistance and mechanical properties at high temperatures even above the melting point of several steels. In this progress, we will report the results of design and installation of de plasma reactor system and characterization of silicon carbide nanoparticles. (authors)
