Generation of cross sections in the region of resonances for fuel poisoned with gadolinium

Description

The effect of heterogeneity and coupling of resonances effects in cross section generation in the epithermal region for gadolinium poisoned fuel are studied. A comparative evaluation between the RESAB-II code and GGC-IV code was done. (M.C.K.)

Mostram-se os efeitos de heterogeneidade e acoplamento de ressonancias na geracao de secoes de choque na regiao epitermica, para combustivel envenenado com gadolinio. Foi feita uma avaliacao comparativa entre os codigos RESAB-II e GGC-IV. (M.C.K.)
