Description

YBa2Cu3O7 (123) films on MgO[100] substrate, produced by the method of laser sputtering, are usually characterized by worth characteristics, as compared to ones, on SrTiO3[100] substrate. To investigate the possible reasons of such difference, a comparative study was made on peculiarities of film growth on these substrates during production by laser sputtering under similar conditions. Film thickness varied from 1100 A to 3000 A. Electron-microscopic investigation were conducted. Phase composition and structural perfection of the films were investigated by X-ray diffractometer, as well as according to Raman spectra in the region of vibration frequency of oxygen sublattice (200-700 cm-1). Experimental results enable to propose, that observed differences are resulted from local chemical interaction of MgO substrate with components of a dense and high-temperature vapor-plasma flow, formed under the effect of high-power laser impulse on the target
