On the decomposition of Moessbauer spectra into partial valent components
Description
The simple method of experimental Moessbauer spectra decomposition into two partial spectra, symmetrical in respect to their chemical shifts, is suggested. The proposed method permits one to extract chemical shifts and quadrupole splittings values with high accuracy. As examples, the decomposition of modelles spectra and emission MgF2:Co57 and SrF2:Co57 spectra into partial components which correspond to Fe2+ and Fe3+ ions is carried out; the chemical shifts and the quadrupole interaction constant for Fe2+ in SrF2 are determined. 3 refs.; 7 figs.; 1 tab
