Fluidization quality of a fluidized-bed nuclear reactors

Description

A hydrodynamic study of the fluidized bed behaviour, in terms of transition between particulate and aggregate fluidization, is presented. The fluidization quality of the system, for laminar and turbulent flow is analyzed, considering the diameter and density of the fuel element and the core reactor porosity. this analysis determines the hydrodynamic bed stability.
