Description

Objective: To explore the relationship between serum TPO and adiponectin, HA levels in patients with hepatic cirrhosis. Methods: Serum adiponectin, HA(With RIA) serum TPO(with ELISA) levels were measured in 63 hepatic cirrhosis patients and 35 controls. Results: Serum TPO and adiponectin levels in patients were significantly lower than those in controls(P < 0.01), while the serum HA were remarkably higher(P < 0.01). Serum TPO level is positive correlated with adiponectin(r = 0.6284, P < O. 01), and TPO is negative correlated with HA(r = 0.4982, P < 0.01). Conclusion: Development and progression of hepatic cirrhosis is closely related to the serum TPO, adiponectin HA levels, hence offers important clinical value. (author)
