Single crystal growth of superconducting layered perovskite metal oxides
Description
In this report, attention has been paid to the single crystal of (La,Sr)/sub 2/CuO/sub 4/ layered perovskite metal oxides, one of high temperature superconductors, because such a large crystal as to be measurable is necessary to clarify the origin of layered superconductivity. In this work, (La,Sr)/sub 2/CuO/sub 4/ single crystals were grown in a molten copper oxide flux at a relatively low temperature, and their habit planes were examined by X-ray Laue patterns
