Critical currents in high-Tc Y1Ba2Cu3O7-x

Description
Critical currents were measured in Y1Ba2Cu3O7-x films, and temperature dependences of the critical current density were studied. It is established that a physical limit of current-carrying ability of the superconducting compound is reached in the low temperature range. The behaviour of pinning volume force in a magnetic field can be described by a universal law. 4 refs.; 2 figs
