Description
The objective of this work is to evaluate the potential of solid lithium ceramic materials as tritium breeding materials for D-T fusion reactors. This activity includes: (1) experimental studies on candidate solid breeder materials with regard to key chemical and physical properties and tritium release characteristics and (2) analysis and review of physiochemical and mechaniccal properties data to determine system operating limits
