Description

The spectroscopic investigations were carried out on a novel 1,3,4-oxadiazole derivative 2BMO. The dipole moments were determined from solvatochromic and ab initio computations using Gaussian 09 W.The HOMO-LUMO energy gap is computed using DFT. The reactive centres like electrophilic site and nucleophilic sites were identified with the help of MESP 3D plots.Preliminary observations suggest that, probe molecule may be considered as potential candidate for OLED applications in future.
